50% of the people working at Kuijpers Caps & Closures have a distance to the labor market. Social entrepreneurship has traditionally been an intrinsic value of Kuijpers Caps & Closures. Having a job, a work environment and your own income has a clear positive effect on people’s happiness.

In addition to a commercial objective, Kuijpers Caps & Closures also has a social objective. Within this social objective, Kuijpers Caps & Closures wants to be part of the process that enables people to participate in society again. The means to this end is work. Kuijpers Caps & Closures is convinced that business can contribute greatly to people’s happiness and well-being.

Within this vision, the new Kuijpers Caps & Closures will focus on three instruments:

– Permanent adapted workplaces for people who are permanently dependent on support and an adapted working environment.

– Work experience places to upgrade people who are not yet productive or experienced enough to enter or re-enter the labor market. Examples include refugees who do not yet master the language, school leavers without a diploma and the long-term unemployed.

– Introductory courses, guided tours and internships. These are carried out together with VSO schools (internships and introduction to the business community).

As an active member of the Normaalste Zaak, Kuijpers Caps & Closures aims to improve the market so that more opportunities can be created for people who have a distance to the labor market. Since 2014, Kuijpers Caps & Closures has been part of the Network Brabants Besten.
